Pre-Built Form Block

For simple needs, like a basic contact form, you can create a form using the Pre-Built Form Block—just add a title, and place it on your page.

Creating your own custom form directly within the platform isn’t supported due to data security and storage compliance requirements.

Need more flexibility? We recommend using Microsoft Forms to build your form, then link to it or embed it on your site.

Form Setting Options

Use the form status settings to control when your form is available for submissions:

Open – The form is active and can accept submissions at any time, with no date restrictions.
Closed – The form is disabled and users will not be able to submit responses.
Scheduled – Set specific start and end dates to control when the form opens and closes automatically.

All pre-built form submissions on your site will be sent directly to the email address specified in your settings.

To make sure you’re receiving form results correctly, please check that your email is set under:

Settings > Site Settings > Site Email

Once set, any contact form or other pre-built forms will automatically deliver submissions to that email address.

Submissions are also saved on your site, so you can look them up whenever you need them instead of searching your inbox.

To find them:

Go to the page that has your form on it.
Select Edit Layout and Content in the top toolbar.
Roll over the Pre-Built Form Block to reveal the pencil icon at its top left, and select it.
Choose View form submissions.

Each form keeps its own separate results, so if a page has more than one form on it, use the pencil icon on the form you want.

This is in addition to email delivery, not a replacement for it. Submissions will keep arriving at your Site Email address exactly as they do today.
